Integrative Counseling with Flower Essence Therapy (FET) is an energetic approach to psychological well-being, and addresses issues of emotional well-being, soul development, and mind-body health. The practice is based on the indigenous understanding that nature is a healer and teacher. Flower Essence Therapy stands alone as a clinical practice, or can be integrated with various forms of traditional therapy. Custom flower essence remedies are prescribed to help you cultivate qualities of the soul such as confidence, a sense of meaning and purpose, love, hope, faith, humility, optimism, courage, intimacy, trust, acceptance, pride, forgiveness, and so much more. Lindsay's sessions integrate Flower Essence Therapy with wisdom from healing traditions such as acupuncture theory, astrology, family constellations, yoga, depth psychology, meditation/mindfulness, essential oils, and herbal medicine.

Acupuncture is a holistic medicine that dates back about 2,500 years. The focus is on the interaction of all bodily systems to restore the health and well being of the whole person--body, mind, and spirit.

Everyone's body is unique, and responds to acupuncture differently.  I practice an integration of four styles of acupuncture:

* Alchemical Acupuncture, for emotional-spiritual well being and soul transformation
* Traditional Chinese Medicine, primarily used for those with internal imbalances
* Traditional Japanese Acupuncture, a light style of needling for those with needle phobia or anxiety
* Floral Acupuncture, the application of flower essences and essential oil to acupuncture points.

Meditation, visualization, moxibustion, massage and essential oils are integrated into the session if indicated.  Every treatment is truly based on your unique needs and goals, and your body's wisdom. In your initial appointment, we will develop and discuss your treatment plan.

Acupuncture is a comprehensive medicine.  While it is known primary in the West for treating pain, we strive to honor the shamanic lineage out of which acupuncture originates. This makes it especially useful for conditions that are exacerbated by stress, and also extremely effective for the following conditions:

Emotional and Spiritual Wellness
* Stress or trauma
* Insomnia
* Anxiety and worry
* Depression
* Grief, disappointment
* Fears and phobias
* Anger, resentment, and frustration

Stress- Induced Internal Imbalances
* Women’s Health: menstrual irregularities, fibroids, & fertility support
* Respiratory disorders: asthma, allergies, and colds
* Digestive complaints: IBS, diarrhea/constipation, cravings, & bloating
* Uro-genital complaints: cystitis, incontinence, urinary tract infections, etc.
* Immune disorders
* Chronic fatigue
* Hormonal imbalances

Pain conditions exacerbated by emotional stress
* Chronic or acute muscular tension
* Back or neck pain
* Sciatica
* Arthritis
* Accident recovery
